Feel free to roam around this site and enjoy the sights. Our high definition fantasy wallpapers are free for you to display on your home and lock screens for your phone.
These fantasy images are also readily usable as desktop wallpapers/backgrounds for your PC’s and computers.
You will find HD galleries in the top menu, as well as our archived collection. We have done away with the cumbersome going through pages and broken them down into years, and fantasy character based.
In our HD fantasy galleries, you will find Gothic, Fractal based, warrior themed backgrounds. 3D Poetry's newer images resolutions are aimed at the HD market
Modern technology is making things a lot easier, so we have ceased offering a multitude of differing resolution images. We now mainly focus on 3840 X 2160 and 2560 X 1440.
Most people's mobile phone or pc can readily adapt an image to suit their home and lock screens, as well as their desktop backgrounds.
The high definition fantasy galleries have changed and we have decided to add a high definition fantasy Favourites category, Pre-2015, and Post 2015, and 3D Poetry's characters based.
As you will see, we love to create scantily clad, heavily (and sometimes sensually) tattooed, warrior like women.
We also understand that all life is intricate, and that not everything is as it seems. We have a skull illusion gallery. And reflections, they are so addictive.
3D Poetry has posted hundreds of high definition fantasy wallpaper images designed to personalise computer backgrounds. The high definition fantasy wallpaper themes range from Gothic through to fairies, science fantasy through to optical illusions.
The 3D HD high definition fantasy backgrounds on this site vary from detailed portraits to complex scenes, both life like and extreme fractal.
3D Poetry has had many face lifts, and will continue to do so, because we believe in constantly trying to better ourselves and to keeping up with the chaotic pace of the internet and computer.
And Now we have let the muse Calliope take over, and weave her magic.
After a major upgrade, it has become obvious that we need to retrace out roots. So, in order to keep in line with the Poetry name, after all that’s how 3D Poetry originated, we will be continually adding to our collection poetry.
Initially we will post several original poems, randomly selected, from our past to each page.
If you have managed to read this far, you are truly a legend. So therefore, I shall tell you a real story about poetry.
All the names you will encounter on this website, are as real as day is night. All be it in a backward logic.
DINCARA, is nothing but a backward spider. Aracnid. What a wicked web we weave.
Arkey M, is a slight shift of my wifes maiden name.
And so the story continues.
A lot of the poetry shown on the following pages is out of context (randomly selected). A lot of the poetry was written to tell a story. Some of it is abstract. The poems are all written by myself and are memories from a long time ago.
So please do the right thing, and do not plagiarize them.
3D Poetry advises that some of the high definition fantasy images on this website contain mild Nudity.
Enjoy the rest of your day, 3D Poetry
About the Poet
Contrary to popular belief, I am an Underground Project Manager in the Murchison & Gascoyne regions of Western Australia at a minesite known as Paddys Flat. I used to fly in and out of work on a 2 week on and 1 week off roster, but now I am making the most of an 9/5 day roster at the moment.
I fly home to an incredible woman (coming up to our 32nd wedding anniversary) who has put up with my passions and hobbies more understandingly than any other person I have known. We have Four amazing children (Now all of them are adults) who are talented and gifted in their own rights.
I have played with computers for over 30 years, but it wasn't until I finally convinced myself that the Internet wasn't the evil monster I thought it was going to be, that I realized what I had been missing out on.
When I was a teenager, we didn't have the internet, mobile phones, gaming stations that could power NASA. We went to penny Arcades and played Space invaders, Galaga and the likes. We went to record shops, and if it what you were looking for wasn't there: Mate you could wait up to 6 weeks for it.
We would have to go through encyclopedias to research anything.
But, then again there was the posters. I had them everywhere, and dozens of them covering any piece of wall. From an early age I was so inspired by the likes of Boris Vallejo, Luis Royo, and Frank Frazetta. I loved the sensuality, and although from time to time the models were naked, in my eyes they were far from pornographic. They were simply embracing the most alluring forms of art -- women...
Anyway, let’s get back on track. (And for those that know me, the “Muse” has a habit of taking me off on a tangent.
So like I was saying, I came across computer backgrounds websites like Digital Blasphemy and Visual Paradox (Thru the old webshots wallpaper program), and Man was I hooked.
I instantly fell in love with the 3D art world. More so, because I discovered Bryce and Poser (by Metacreations back then).
MATE, I had found my medium. Being limited to stick men and a few caricatures, I was in expression heaven. I was a poet (still are to a degree), but words can only tell so much, with these programs I could finally bring to life the images and inspirations that lived inside of my head.
I have strong beliefs, but I was almost tempted to steal the program off the shelf (using trial versions at that time). Over the years Quit smoking and drinking to save every penny to get Bryce and Poser. As of recent, I have started using Daz Studio.
The rest is history. I have seen my techniques, site and results improve over the years, but I really enjoy seeing others develop as well.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this, and browsing through the galleries. Enjoy the backgrounds.
P.S. As a side note, I have mainly used Victoria 4 and Poser, but lately I have taken a liking to Victoria 7 and Daz Studio.
P.P.S. WOW, Victoria and Genesis 8 are freaking awesome.
About the Logo
3D Poetry's Logo like the artist is simple, yet highly detailed and complex.
It is based on 3, d, p. The number 3 is pretty well recognised immediately (although sometimes confused for an 8). The letters d and p are negatives within the number 3.
Now comes to light the true meaning of 3D Poetry, it is layered with layers of imagination.
With a couple of lines, we can now see the eyes. Which are the doorway to the soul.
Looking a bit more, you can see a sword, palm tree, and even a bird.
The animation highlights this bird. Like the phoenix it represents, things live, flourish, wither, die, get remodelled and are reborn
Ask yourself one question ... How did dragons come to be? Did someone see something that inspired them enough to bring them to life, OR, did the dragon inspire the person to see them in the first place?
