A work in progress on Tuonetar ... Who is the Queen of the Underworld in Finnish mythology. Tuonetar is the wife of Tuoni, with whom she rules over the Underworld Tuonela. In the 16th song of Kalevala, Väinämöinen arrives in their kingdom. Heavily inspired by Nightwish and Floor Jensen... I've been working on the outfit and character, on and off for months. Still got a bit ahead of me.
A play on words, and a play on images. Where the story can conjure itself into manifestation, or simply that a person lost in a mansion turns rapidly and their torchlight captures something totally unexpected. To twist the words to understand the torment that the beast contains beauty, and the beauty has a beast within.

Whilst trying to figure out some Iris effects and struggling with shaders, this idea popped into my head. Enjoy the sunset.

Done some postwork on this to for my mother so it resembled her brother. Basically changed the eyes.
The blokes at work have been taking the piss out of me. And if you can't take the piss out of yourself, well life would be pretty miserable.
